Robert Tenzer
M.C.E (Geodesy &Cartography), PhD (Slovak TU), PhD (Czech TU)
Robert completed a Master degree in geodesy and cartography in 1995
at the Slovak Technical University and followed this with a PhD study in
physical geodesy in 1999. In 2008 he also completed a PhD study in
satellite geodesy at the Czech Technical University. Between 1997 and
2001 he was involved in teaching a variety of courses in specific areas
of geodesy and cartography at the University of Žilina and the Matej Bel
University. From 2001 until 2008 he held research positions at the
Department of Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering at the University of New
Brunswick, at the School of Civil Engineering and Geomatics at the
University of Newcastle upon Tyne and at the Department of Earth
Observation and Space Systems of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at
the Delft University of Technology.
Robert's particular research interests are related to the gravity field modelling with a special emphasis on realization of the vertical reference systems, the orthometric height definition, and the gravimetric geoid/quasigeoid modelling.
